Versatility	Gone are the days when there was enough time for chemical analysis of base metal & maintain huge inventories of numerous electrodes.	By using just one electrode, you eliminate all guesswork there by saving downtime. Huge Inventories are no longer necessary.
Very high Tensile strength exceeding tensile strength of base metals to be welded.	Welds of production welding rods have lower tensile strength than the base metal. This results in weld failures and the need for repetitive ding.	No weld failures. Repetitive welding totally eliminated. Saving in downtime, resulting in increased profitability.

BUILT IN FEATURES OF METARC / MG ELECTRODES

 

FEATURES	BENEFITS
Electrode coatings contain special compounds, deoxidizers, stabilizers and alloying elements.	Prevents alteration of deposit structure on solidification, hence eliminates carbide precipitation, micro segregation, multi axial stresses and slag inclusion.
Formulated to produce slag which rises to the top of weld deposit on each pass	Lighter viscosity slag which rises to the top, prevents inclusion of contaminates. It also acts as an insulator deposit on each pass, which makes the weld positively crack resistant.
Controlled heat energy input and metal transfer	Electrodes operate at low amperage eliminating excessive heat input and damage to base metal. Also reduces thermal shocks. Ensures even flow of metal into weld area for effective bonding in transition zone.
Coatings ensure a fine metallic spray, transfer with shortest possible arc.	Controlled penetration, eliminating spatter and preventing under bead cracking. This makes all position welding possible.
